New partners in ROVER

We are happy to announce that Nagoya Institute of Technology (Nagoya, Japan) and Hiroshima City University (Hiroshima, Japan) have joined our ROVER consortium at the beginning of October 2024. These two new partners will strengthen the ROVER collaboration relating to wireless body area network research and standardization. For example, both new partners are involved in ETSI TC SmartBAN standardization, where University of Oulu (Oulu, Finland) and University of Florence (Florence, Italy) have been actively working since the beginning of the Technical Committee. ROVER collaboration will improve the joint research work within the partners.

Moreover, these two new partners have existing collaboration with other ROVER partners, which makes it easier for them to integrate to the project.

At the same time, University of Oulu Research Institute in Japan - CWC Nippon was withdrawn from the project.
